Light Panel: Girlfriend, Bride, Mother, Life: A Travelogue This slide display/light panel uses a large half-round, two-foot high ceramic, and is lighted only on one face. The lighted face is made up of clear and translucent Plexiglas which “sandwiches” a layout of 35mm. color slides; the back face contains a collage on top of wood backing, covered with thin Plexiglas. Wood used in the lamp base is mahogany (, plus plywood and pine for the base box); square and miter joinery, brass screws, gluing, and small brass nuts and bolts. The electrical fixture is two 40-watt warm florescent bulbs, with sockets and ballast, and grounded, in-line switch. Table or shelf display, has non-marring rubber feet at the bottom corners.
