Memory is the Orphan of the Child (2004) Wall-mounted (D-rings) assemblage of ten small “drawer” boxes taken from a discarded parts cabinet, mounted on a horizontal veneer plywood (oak), trimmed in cheery and zebrawood, with re-milled green poplar shelving from the original cabinet used for in-between box trim. Each of the ten boxes has three mini lights at the top, shaded by Plexiglas and book text fragments. Interior boxes assemblages made up of various found objects. Size: 62 in. (w) by 10 in. (h) by 4˝ in. (d) Price: $1,875. |
